The Royal Oak Hotel
is set in Cheadle which is a picturesque and historical market town.  The Royal Oak Hotel itself is nearly 300 years old, built in 1734 and is even rumoured to have a ghost by the name of George.  The hotel has eleven rooms of which ten are en suite.  There is ample car parking at the rear.  We are handily situated for local attractions such as Alton Towers which is only 4 miles away and the potteries 7 miles in the other direction.  The pub is on the edge of the Peak District National Park which is only a ten mile drive for a great day in the country.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
