Approximately 10
to 15 minutes east of Peterborough City Centre on the A47 main road, at
the traffic lights is a large Victorian pub situated in
three acres in the village of Thorney. The
Rose & Crown has a restaurant (Shreevie's Restaurant), a lounge bar, a public bar and
a quiet family room. Also offered are beer gardens either side of the
house and a small animal farm for the children. Real log fires burn
throughout the winter and three real ales are always on offer. All food
is freshly prepared on the premises by two resident professional
chefs. There are theme food nights and murder mysteries
throughout the year. The Rose and Crown At Thorney - Real
fires, Real ale, Real food, a Real pub!
