 The
Rising Sun is a friendly community pub
with a relaxed
informal atmosphere, situated on the one way system into Wimborne town centre.
At lunchtimes we are mainly food orientated, but in
the evenings there is more of a traditional pub
atmosphere,
though food is still available. Set in a very pleasant town we have an
attractive pub garden and patio area alongside a
small river - we have been winners of Wimborne in bloom floral competition on many
occasions. There is a good, steady trade throughout year and we are particularly popular in tourist
season. We serve a good selection of varied dishes
on our daily specials board and menu which is suitable for everyone.
The pub is a listed building with attractive interior features including a beautiful Aga
stove. When approaching from the A31
Ringwood direction, you will find us immediately around the corner
from the cricket ground. |
