Our
passion is chargrilling, because
we're passionate about food. We only
use the finest cuts of steak from
traditionally reared cattle fed
predominantly on grass to ensure
exceptional flavour and tenderness.
Our steaks are expertly prepared by
a British family run firm of
butchers and matured for a minimum
of 28 days before being seared on
the chargrill for that special
Beefeater taste! Today on our menu
you'll also find succulent chicken,
fish and lamb grills as well as

 Conveniently
situated only about a mile from Junction 7 of the
M62, and half way towards St Helens town centre on
the A570, the Micklehead
Green is a very popular venue. Purpose built in 1997, there
is a new, modern colour scheme throughout, lots of
creams and beiges, which help to set the scene for a
very pleasant visit. We are the only Beefeater
in the area and the only Steak house too. This
makes our restaurant particularly popular with
diners who prefer more than just pub grub.
Delicious dishes are available from an array of
menus which suit everyone's taste. We even
have a children's menu for the younger diners.
You will find comfortable booth seating in the
restaurant as well as sofas, poser tables and low
coffee tables and seats in the bar area. Come
and relax in comfort whilst our polite, friendly and
efficient staff wait upon you. Whether you are
staying at the Premier Inn next door, joining us for
a family meal out or just enjoying a refreshing ale,
