 The Railway is a lovely country inn, surrounded by green fields. There
are open log fires, a new (non smoking) dining room, lounge area & traditional
vault with dart board & Sky TV. Excellent food prepared by Lynda (Landlady) + 2
chefs (Sylvia & Sarah). When possible vegetables & salads are used from our own garden.
Outside there is a large bowling green (crown), a children's play area, patio seating
area & a pets corner. We have 9 bowling teams, 2 dominoes teams, 2 football
teams and are the meeting point for the local branch of the Manchester city
supporters club. Quiz nights are held during the winter months usually on a Saturday.
We can be found next to Mobberley Railway Station, off Smith Lane. Signposting not allowed
but find the station and you find us very close to the end of runway 2.
