The
Llandoger is a beautiful five storey building full of history
and character. This Brewers Fayre pub is located in Bristol City Centre.
It has outdoor seating looking
over the square along with other bars and restaurants around giving a
vibrant atmosphere in the evening - a good place to be on warmer days. We attract
many new
faces, as we are city centre based, but also have a steady local trade as well.
Tourists are attracted to the pub given it's history and rumour has it that
Robinson Crusoe was based on a gentleman who visited the Llandoger! It is
one of Bristol's oldest pubs and dates back to 1664. It is
traditionally decorated with plenty of antiques around, with nooks, crannies
and
original fire places. There are about sixty covers in the pub and further
tables upstairs which seat another 100 people. Quality Brewers Fayre
food is served at a reasonable price from an extensive menu and the
children's menu has appetizing choices for our younger visitors.
With such a diversity of clientele the bar staff are very welcoming and
friendly to new visitors and regulars alike. We can also cater for private parties
and meetings, with buffets provided. There is a contemporary
adult only Bed Bar downstairs which is a contemporary bar serving food with
different opening hours. Make sure you call in next time you come
to Bristol.
When you visit
the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
