REFURBISHMENT

We re-opened following a refurbishment Autumn 2012. The Foley in Claygate has been a village pub since the 1780s and is now a coaching inn for the 21st century providing a relaxed home-from-home for locals and visitors alike. We have 17 beautiful boutique-style bedrooms as well as a brand new pub and dining room providing the perfect place for locals and visitors to enjoy all of the comforts and amenities expected from a larger hotel.

ACCOMMODATION	We have 17 en-suite boutique-style rooms including family suites with adjoining rooms. Rooms have flat screen TV with Digital Freeview. Beautifully cooked seasonal dishes are on offer throughout the day, including brunch, lunch and dinner options as well as daily specials, home-made puddings and an extensive bar menu featuring a range of delicious traditional British bar snacks, all cooked to order. With many ingredients sourced from local producers in and around the town, diners can enjoy dishes featuring award-winning meat as well as a selection of fish from the local fishmonger. Dating back to the 1780’s, the pub was named after the landowners. It is an imposing corner pub and in every sense a traditional village local, offering the best of British hospitality and atmosphere, with a friendly welcome, good ale and delicious home-cooked pub food.
