With
it's spire and clock to guide you, The
Bear Tavern is
situated on the main High Street of Smethwick, an outer suburb of
Birmingham. We are the ideal place to come and enjoy a drink, meal,
snack or watch some sport. This is a large pub of modern
interior and to cater for a mixed clientele is split into two areas. There is
an area to watch sports with big and plasma screens showing exciting matches from
ESPN & Sky Sports.
A video satellite juke box is also found here transmitting the latest
videos onto our big screens. If you want a more laid back time choose our quieter
area, where the TVs can be turned off and you will not be disturbed by the
sporting crowd. We are family friendly and have a children's menu
but also are popular for the varied weekly entertainment from DJ
to pilates. A lot of people visit us particularly at
lunchtime and early evening especially as we have some great food offers
